INTRODUCTION

MaaS Market Atlanta is an annual two-day, international, senior-level conference for all organisations with an interest in putting into practice alternative forms of mobility, or Mobility as a Service – that is to say, new ways of getting people to their destination and new ways for them to pay for transport services.

Supported by the Georgia State Road & Tollway Authority and the City of Atlanta, the conference takes place in Atlanta on May 9 and 10, 2018.

It will bring together transport project leaders and technology experts from across the USA along with examples of MaaS developments in Europe.

One of the key themes will be how technology can create more efficient and cost-effective transport strategies, boosting social mobility and employment, by making it easier for communities to access jobs.

The Atlanta event is one of a limited number of global conferences and networking events for executives and senior managers in the transportation and ITS industry on the development of MaaS, focusing on key strategic, technological and business-critical issues.

The audience

The delegates encompass the entire supply chain – transport authorities and political leaders, project managers, consultants, legislators, regulators along with service providers and suppliers.

The inaugural 2017 event in London was a great success attracting well over 230 delegates from 137 organisations and 14 countries in Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East - representing national governments, urban and rural transport authorities, financial organisations, technology firms and global engineering consultancies.

Buying a ticket

Until April 8, early bird tickets cost just US$495 for full conference access on both days. This includes lunches, coffees and teas and entry to the drinks and canapés reception at the end of the first day. From April 9 onwards, the full price is US$675. To purchase your seat, go to the "Book your place" section on this website.

The MaaS Market conferences are organised by ITS International, the leading global magazine and website for traffic management and urban mobility. Launched in 1995, ITS International magazine is the widest circulating, most requested and best read title in the sector.

Atkins is embracing a new way of thinking about how to use technology and data to connect people, places, goods, and services and to reimagine infrastructure and enable urban mobility through its work on intelligent mobility (iM) to which Mobility as a Service is a critical component.

We are navigating a changing and complex world focusing on the user, their needs and new innovative types of collaboration to meet those needs.

We are investing in the future, developing global relationships, and researching how to enable behavioural change and develop new business models for MaaS.

Atkins is a global company but focuses on developing its solutions to meet local needs and those of the users because one size does not fit all, so if we are researching MaaS in Greater Manchester in the UK or developing new business models in the US, we know the differences which are the key aspects to understand.
